It has been one week since we have completed the Prairie Thousand. We have spent some time relaxing, catching up on emails and paperwork and basically getting ready for the fall season. I would like to know from everyone that reads our blog if we should continue the blog, add more social media platforms to our repertoire (to reach more people) or if we should just leave it with Facebook and this blog.
On Sept 3, Rob will be in Winnipeg for surgery on his shoulder so his cycling year is over. He is also awaiting a date to have surgery on his knee. This is going to determine the viability of a P1K ride for 2025. Stay posted and we will update as we can. But, the best news to date is that we are less than $600 away from our goal for this year! less than $600 to reaching $100,000 over 4 years. This is HUGE and we have all of you to thank!! And than you to everyone that has supported us this year. It's a wonderful comfort to know we are not alone in our passion to help people with PTSD (Operational Stress Injuries) get a dog and get back to functioning in society. You people, all of you, are amazing!!!
